Interesting facts about Mushrooms

    You can see pictures of fungi here and this specimen is also under the name dryad's saddle or scientifically Polyporus squamosus and it is a typical tree fungus which was named after the dryad's from the Greek mythology. There are also numerous legends in mythology and it was mostly considered as magical creatures who have also been regarded as carriers of secret knowledge and were also associated with wisdom from a symbolic point of view and were also associated for a long time with occultism and various creatures that live in the forest. Some cultures used mushrooms for ritual purposes to come into contact with the supernatural and numerous ancient myths appear in which mushrooms are mentioned and to this day, these little creatures of nature fascinate numerous scientists and collectors around the globe.
