Unus mundus also described in alchemy a concept that already has a long tradition and the term originally comes from Latin and means as much as one world and in the Middle Ages it was rather unknown and became more known by the Swiss alchemist Paracelsus and later by Carl Gustav Jung. The principle is closely linked to synchronisation, which is important to better understand causes and also describes the connection between internal and external influences and from a psychological point of view, it is often linked to the effect which the internal causes can have on the external. Unus mundus can also be compared to the well-known Yin and Yang which has an important meaning in Chinese alchemy and this association is an important concept when it comes to understanding of causes and has helped the alchemists to get questions about the origin of their own reality and was important to explain that both principles come from the same. For the practical or spiritual side of alchemy, the understanding of synchronisation was omnipresent and can be found everywhere and according to Jung, the psyche is closely linked to matter and even if both are based on different aspects, both belong to the same and are one in a world and this duality is also an important principle when it comes to the understanding of the view of the whole and is considered an important basis when it comes to understanding of alchemy.
