#936 - Monochrome Street Scenes for Sunday.
Warm Sunday greetings to us all Hiveans. It's our barangay fiesta today and lots of people are on the street celebrating it. May today be a day of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Wishing you a peaceful and joyful day filled with love, laughter and quality time with loved ones. Sending positive vibes and happy thoughts to our global Hivean community, may your Sunday be blessed with serenity and happiness.
Now for our daily shots for monochrome here's an elderly woman in a worn jacket braved the cold weather at the overpass. She held a can with her frail hand extended to passerby begging for spare change. Her being filled with desperation as she pleaded for help as people rushed by.
Beside two loading/unloading road signs stood tall witnessing the hustle and bustle of daily life as people went about their individual pursuits. A man checking his phone while two ladies beside him just stood there with their eyes somewhere.
Here's a long line of vehicles including taxis and jeepneys, the vehicles stood still in stuck traffic after a rain. The road was congested with private cars and public transport waiting patiently. In stark contrast, the opposite side of the road was clear of heavy traffic with vehicles moving smoothly. The disparity highlighted the chaos caused by the rain which had brought one side of the road to a standstill.
Lastly is an elderly woman dressed in rain boots and a waterproof coat walked briskly past the line of vehicles which were at a standstill. She navigated through the wet road with ease, her rain gear keeping her dry as she made her way through the congested road while carrying items she got from the market.
