Drawings can be seen here which have been created by the Hivean @gooze from Venezuela who collects money for the medical treatment of his mother who is currently going through a difficult time and is struggling with illness. To collect money, he uses his talent and is creating drawings which he shares on the Hive Blockchain to generate some money for the treatment and in addition he offers the possibility to create individual drawings or portraits and per created work, he demands 10 HBD and after someone has told him the motif, he makes two drawings of which you can choose the favorite which is then digitized as NFT on NFT Showroom. If you would also like to have an individual drawing and at the same time to support a good initiative, I can recommend you to visit his blog or write to him directly via discord under the name "goozedraw". I personally liked both drawings very much, which is why I chosed both for 20 HBD and my request was to have a drawing which is associated on the mineral aquamarine which, according to Greek mythology, fell out of the treasure chest of the mermaids and washed on land and matching it, he has created two drawings of figures which have characteristics of mermaids and the sea and of course the mineral can be seen on both.

I really like both drawings very much and the mineral aquamarine has an important meaning in Greek mythology and was also associated with the god of the seas Poseidon and there are legends that he once colored the mineral and typically it was associated with the element water and especially worshiped by sailors. According to legends, the sailors once carried specimens of the mineral with them or threw them into the water to tame the sea to be safe and from a symbolic point of view, it could be considered as a mineral that gives strength or protection. When sailors were on the journey, it was also considered a kind of talisman that could help to be safe from diseases or attract many fish and it was even used as a kind of oracle or compass that could show the right way. In ancient Greece, sailors were especially afraid of the Sirens, which are mixed creatures that do their mischief in the water and attracts the sailors to pull them later into the water and here too, there was the belief that aquamarine could protect against the attacks of the Sirens. Much of this belief has also been transferred to other cultures and also in the Middle Ages there was the view that if someone carry aquamarine, this person is particularly safe and also with the old alchemists it had an important meaning and was also considered one of the sources of eternal youth which can also help to awaken the spiritual side. Probably it was already associated with eternal life with the ancient Egyptians and from old excavations it appears that it was worn as jewelry and it was also an important status symbol with later queens or kings and to present the mineral again in the natural form, I took a picture of a specimen.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my contribution! I captured the picture of the mineral with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens and the pictures of the drawings are created by gooze.
