¡Hello Hive community!
This is the second part of the trip to Puerto Rico. A beautiful place in Puerto Rico is El Yunque National Forest. It is a tropical rainforest with tall trees and impressive waterfalls. You can walk along paths in the jungle and see amazing plants and animals. It is a magical place where you can be close to nature and feel part of it. I remember a very good anecdote was with a toucan that appeared when I was about to take a picture with a group of people who were on an excursion when suddenly it landed behind us and the photographer warned us. The very funny guy wanted to see who we were and came to look around and after the photo some of them turned around to see him from the front and then he came even closer and looked for them with his beak.
Besides the beaches and the jungle, Puerto Rico also has beautiful cities to visit. San Juan is the capital and has a beautiful old town with cobblestone streets and colorful buildings. You can walk the streets and see the Spanish colonial architecture and enjoy the delicious food in the local restaurants.
Vieques is another beautiful island you can visit in Puerto Rico. It has amazing beaches and crystal clear waters where you can snorkel and see tropical fish. You can also visit the Bioluminescent Bay, where you can see the water glow in the dark due to tiny organisms called dinoflagellates. That was crazy that I couldn't believe it existed, much less that I was going to get to see it first hand.
With the camera I had, I couldn't take the pictures that would show what my eyes could see. I remember that I also met many nocturnal animals that I did not know of their existence and they were amazing. The jungle at night is a world apart, it is more than a jungle, it is a world. Because other animals live, the sounds are different and the curiosity is also different because they feel safer and come much closer. It is a very special place with a lot of natural and cultural beauty to enjoy. It is a perfect destination for a relaxing and exciting vacation at the same time as long as you like the kind of wine in contact with nature, of course!

¡Hola comunidad de Hive!
Esta es la segunda parte del viaje a Puerto Rico. Un lugar hermoso en Puerto Rico es el Bosque Nacional El Yunque. Es una selva tropical con árboles altos y cascadas impresionantes. Podes caminar por caminos en la selva y ver plantas y animales increíbles. Es un lugar mágico donde puedes estar cerca de la naturaleza y sentirte parte de ella. Me acuerdo una anécdota muy buena fue con un tucán que apareció cuando yo estaba por sacarme una foto con un grupo de personas que estábamos en excursión cuando de pronto se posó detrás nuestro y el fotógrafo nos avisó. El muy gracioso quería ver quienes éramos y vino a curiosear y después de la foto algunos se dieron vuelta para verlo de frente y ahí se les acercó más aún y los buscaba con el pico.
Además de las playas y la selva, Puerto Rico también tiene ciudades hermosas para visitar. San Juan es la capital y su casco antiguo muy bonito con calles empedradas y edificios coloridos. Se puede caminar por las calles y ver la arquitectura colonial española y disfrutar de la comida deliciosa en los restaurantes locales.
Vieques es otra isla hermosa que puedes visitar en Puerto Rico. Tiene playas increíbles y aguas cristalinas donde puedes hacer snorkel y ver peces tropicales. También puedes visitar la Bahía Bioluminiscente, donde puedes ver el agua brillar en la oscuridad debido a pequeños organismos llamados dinoflagelados. Eso fue una locura que no pude creer que existiese, mucho menos que iba a poder verlo en primera persona.
Con la cámara que tenía no pude sacar las fotos que ajusticien lo que mis ojos podían ver. Recuerdo que también conocí muchos animales nocturnos que no sabía de su existencia y fueron sorprendentes. La selva de noche es un mundo aparte es más que una selva es un mundo. Porque otros animales viven, los sonidos son otros y la curiosidad es otra también porque al sentirse más seguros se acercan mucho más. Es un lugar muy especial con mucha belleza natural y cultural para disfrutar. Es un destino perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes y emocionantes al mismo tiempo siempre y cuando te guste el tipo de vino en contacto con la naturaleza, ¡claro está!.
