¡Hola, mis queridos gamers! Después de mucho tiempo (años, quizás) con este juego del que les conversaré hoy, añadido a Mis deseos de Steam, decidí de una vez por todas a adquirirlo. Se trata de Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley es un juego tipo simulación de granja creado en 2016. Y aunque apenas llevo un día jugándolo, puedo adelantar que es un juego No Lineal, es decir, no tiene un final definido. Lo que significa que aunque hay algunas misiones para realizar, no tienes que regirte por una línea y puedes hacer lo que quieras con la granja en ruinas que acabas de heredar.
Ya he tenido experiencia jugando estos juegos estilo pixel antes y con la misma temática de granja. Soy muy fan de Harvest Moon de Game Boy, por esto, sabía que si jugaba este, me iba a enamorar.
Como les dije, tuve este juego al menos durante 3 años en mi lista de deseos. Pero por una u otra razón siempre terminaba haciendo, jugando o comprando cualquier otro juego. No fue hasta que obtuve mi Nintendo Switch que quise volver a jugar, así que lo agregué a otra lista de deseos. Sin embargo, después de 6 meses con mi Nintendo y después de esperar a conseguir alguna oferta, me cansé y decidí comprarlo para PC que me costaba 3 veces menos que en la tienda de Nintendo.

Stardew Valley is a farm simulation game created in 2016. And although I've barely been playing it for a day, I can advance that it is a non-linear game, that is, it does not have a definite end. Which means that although there are some missions to perform, you don't have to be ruled by a line, and you can do whatever you want with the ruined farm you just inherited.I've had experience playing these pixel style games before and with the same farm theme. I'm a big fan of Game Boy's Harvest Moon, so I knew that if I played this one, I was going to fall in love.
As I told you, I had this game for at least 3 years on my wish list. But for one reason or another I always ended up making, playing or buying any other game. It wasn't until I got my Nintendo Switch that I wanted to play it again, so I added it to another wish list. However, after 6 months with my Nintendo and after waiting to get any deals, I got tired and decided to buy it for PC, which cost me 3 times less than the Nintendo store.

En cuanto lo instalé empecé a seguir la historia, mi personaje se llama Naty, tenía un trabajo en una oficina en la gran ciudad, y un día recibe una carta dejada por su abuelo en la que le hereda una vieja granja en un pequeño pueblo. Este juego se basa en ir limpiando, cosechando, pescando, construyendo e ir creando amistades, e incluso, pareja.
Mi granja lleva por nombre La Colmena. Apenas empecé, limpié de maleza la zona, empecé a arar y a sembrar. Empecé a reunir algo de dinero al vender las cosechas, para completar mi primera gran misión que era la de construir un gallinero. Fueron varios días dentro del juego, y ya después de conseguir mi misión, dejé de jugar.

As soon as I installed it I started to follow the story, my character's name is Naty. She had a job in an office in the big city, and one day she receives a letter left by her grandfather in which he inherits an old farm in a small town. This game is based on cleaning, harvesting, fishing, building and creating friendships, and even a couple.My farm is called La Colmena. As soon as I started, I cleared the area of weeds, started plowing and sowing. I started to collect some money by selling the crops, to complete my first big mission which was to build a chicken coop. It was several days into the game, and after I got my mission, I stopped playing.

Hay varios puntos del juego que me parecieron maravillosos. Y lo genial es que puedo hacer una comparación con cosas que no me gustaban de Harvest Moon. Por ejemplo, que puedo ir agregando todas las cosechas a mi inventario y estas solo se van sumando. En HM tenía que llevar una por una al baúl de la entrada, lo que me parecía una perdida de tiempo.
Salvo la siembra de guisantes, puedo caminar encima de las parcelas sembradas, lo que hace que se aproveche al máximo el espacio para sembrar. Y lo otro, es que las recompensas del día llegan a la hora de dormir, en HM tenía que entregar todas las cosechas antes de la 5 pm, lo que hacía que muchas veces no entregara todo a tiempo.

There are several points in the game that I thought were wonderful. And the great thing is that I can make a comparison with things I didn't like about Harvest Moon. For example, I can add all the crops to my inventory, and they just add up. In HM I had to carry one by one to the trunk at the entrance, which seemed like a waste of time.Except for planting peas, I can walk over the planted plots, which makes the most of the planting space. And the other thing, is that the day's rewards come at bedtime, in HM I had to deliver all the crops before 5 pm, which meant that I often did not deliver everything on time.

Estas cosas parecen tontas, pero a la larga, y después de jugar por horas, ese detalle de ir al lugar, cosechar un artículo, llevarlo al baúl y repetir esto hasta unas 30 veces, se hacía cansado. Y es algo que aquí supieron aprovechar y hacer que la experiencia de juego se haga más agradable. Ya solo en esos tres detalles, para mí, es más que suficiente.
Me di cuenta de que hay un modo cooperativo y esto me llena de mucha intriga, ojalá pueda probarlo alguna vez. Otra cosa que me gusta es que no consume mucha gráfica de mi PC, por lo que puedo conectar mi monitor y ver y escuchar mis programas y pódcast favoritos mientras juego.
Creo que he hecho una excelente compra y que perdurará a lo largo de los años, porque siempre estoy buscando retornar a esos juegos que me relajan bastante. Este tipo de juego de granjas, es uno de ellos. Así que seguiré disfrutando de mi casa, agrandándola, dándole amor a mi gato Mikka y haciéndome millonaria. Por otro lado, creo que haré una reseña de Nintendo y por qué no me gustó la experiencia.

These things seem silly, but in the long run, and after playing for hours, that detail of going to the location, harvesting an item, taking it to the trunk and repeating this up to 30 times, became tiring. And it is something that here they knew how to take advantage of and make the game experience more enjoyable. In those three details alone, for me, it's more than enough.I noticed that there is a cooperative mode and this fills me with a lot of intrigue, hopefully I can try it sometime. Another thing I like is that it doesn't consume a lot of graphics from my PC, so I can connect my monitor and watch and listen to my favorite shows and podcasts while I play.
I think I have made an excellent purchase and that it will last throughout the years, because I am always looking to return to those games that relax me a lot. This type of farm game is one of them. So I will continue enjoying my house, enlarging it, giving love to my cat Mikka and becoming a millionaire. On the other hand, I think I will do a review of Nintendo and why I didn't like the experience.
