Wrong drugs almost took my eye

Health is wealth, and it's known to all. Staying healthy is the greatest blessing of God. Everyone wants to be healthy all the time, but sometimes our immune system fails to protect us and we become sick. We need to take drugs to become healthy again.

Each drug is effective for specific cases, and it can be a dead end if the wrong drug is taken. It may cost life also. So, drugs are sensitive things, and taking the wrong amount of drugs can result in the opposite. So, staying cautious is very important. Instead of it, sometimes we need to suffer because of wrong drugs or wrong treatment suggestions.

I am quite fortunate, as I am living a healthy life till now and I hardly become sick. Approximately 7 years ago, I faced an eye issue because my eyes were infected by a virus. In that time, many people also suffered for it. My eyes turned into red in color, and it was worse compared to other people. So I made a consultation with a doctor, and he suggested some medicine and eye drops. I applied the medicine, but unfortunately, the issues got worse with time. After a period of time, it was bleeding from my eyes, and it was quite shocking to me and made me a little bit afraid.

So within a short time, I made a consultant with an eye specialist. I think it was sorry because the eye is a very sensitive thing and should not be taken lightly. After observing my eye condition, the doctor asked if I had applied medicine earlier, and I showed him the eye drops and medicine. The eye specialist asked me which doctor suggested it and it was not suitable for me. So the eye specialist gave me new eye drops and drugs. He also suggested me to do an eye test after recovering. I recovered, and I forgot to do the test. Approximately after 1 month while I was on an adventure, I noticed that one of my eyes showed me blurry images. So again, I made contact with an eye specialist again and made a test. After seeing my eye condition, the doctor said there were some white spots in my pupils, and the chance of full recovery was very little. The doctor suggested some eye drops and said to apply those for one month, and during the one month, he said to try to avoid sunlight as much as possible.

Although the chance of full recovery was very little, the doctor tried his best. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to recover my eye. Otherwise, I would need to use glass (lens) for forever. If I didn't receive the wrong medicine, my eye condition wouldn't be so bad, and there would be no risk. I was lucky, and that's why my eyes are safe till now, but for full recovery of my eyes, I needed to stay at home for one month like a prisoner, and that's the price I paid for recovery.

Everybody won't be lucky like me. A simple mistake can give us a huge blow for a lifetime; it doesn't matter if it's the mistake of a doctor or ours because we will be the sufferers at the end. So, it's better to stay careful.
