¿Que implica realizar una guardia de 32 horas corridas? Mucho cansancio les puedo decir. Ultimamente me han tocado mucho las 32 horas corridas y es un proceso de preparación bastante extenso entre la comidas para todas esas horas hasta todo lo que implica estar de guardia.

No es un proceso fácil, lo primero que hago el día anterior a este suceso es pensar en las comidas que llevaré al trabajo el cual consiste en 2 desayunos, 2 almuerzos y 1 cena. Bastante verdad… pero si debo traer
Todos esos alimentos y creo que esto es una de las cosas más estresante de trabajar de esta manera.

De por si es estresante saber que cocinar todos los días más cuando debes planificar para llevar al trabajo. Para estos días mi primer almuerzo es una pasta con pollo en crema de mostaza, este pollo me quedo de un almuerzo anterior así que no dude en utilizarlo. Mi segundo almuerzo carne con vegetales, un poco de arroz y plátano.

Hice dos arepas una para el desayuno de ese día y otra para la cena. Al menos tengo un microondas en el trabajo y puedo calentar todas estas comidas.

Mi día al entrar de guardia inicia a las 6:00 am. Por supuesto que con mucha flojera de levantarme y quizás me quede unos minutos más en la cama. Luego de eso me baño mientras preparo el desayuno y la cena que por lo general los preparo ese mismo día.

El día de hoy se me hizo un poco tarde pero tengo la ventaja de que estoy muy cerca de la clínica. A pocos minutos luego de llegar llegó un paciente por emergencia lo procesé y me dispuse a desayunar. Llegado el medio día comencé a sentirme mal, con él virus gripal que está dando, ni apetito tenia, mucho goteo nasal y malestar general. Almorcé a duras penas u tuve que ir a la farmacia por medicina.

El día transcurrió tranquilo pero en la noche llegaron 3 politraumatismos de un accidente de auto y estaban muy mal. mi noche fue en vela realmente agotadora sumando al gran malestar que tengo. Hay guardias que son relajadas y hay otras cómo está que solo quiero que terminen.

Dia 2: a las 5:30 am aproximadamente ya me estoy acomodando para el resto de las horas que me quedan , dormiría en total como 2horas y sería mucho. Como es lunes llega el resto del personal a partir de las 7:15. El para desayuno de hoy me toca comprar ya que quería comer algo recién hecho, mi malestar empeoró así que me espera un Nescafé.

Mi noche fue horrible, los doctores toda la noche operando y la Clínica muy llena de gente, sabia que me sentiría muy agotada más el malestar.

La mañana comenzó movida, pero ya a media mañana todo estaba listo, me tocó realizar las pruebas especiales al terminar solo esperé que se hiciera la hora para salir.

No veía la hora de terminar mi turno; cansada, enferma y como un zombie.
