Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. I don't know if it is just me, but this year moved with the speed of light; it still feels like yesterday we were shouting "Happy New Year" at the top of our voices and using fireworks to celebrate the new year, and it is already ending. No doubt this year had its good times and bad times, its ups and downs, but in all we are grateful to God for the year, and there is definitely something to look back at the year and be grateful for, one thing or even more.
The year was no smooth sail; the bad government contributed to at least 90 percent of the problems people had to face in the year 2024, from high costs in the price of goods and services to high costs of transportation; everything hiked in price, causing people to stress extra to get little things done, and that alone made the year look like a very bad year, but it is not always all bad. We all had our share of the bad governance but had to find a way around it and had to learn how to live with it and deal with it without lamenting too much because lamenting is how the situation of things weighs you down.
This year I was opportune to get a few things I have always wanted to learn done; it will take time to perfect it, but I am willing to go on that adventure no matter how long it takes. I would have bagged a degree this year, but Nigeria, what it does as Nigeria, that dream did not happen. My school was shut down for about five months after a protest for the increase in school fees, and instead of staying idle, I enrolled in an online crypto class that lasted for about six months and got a certificate from the tutor. It has always been something I wanted to learn and do but never got the chance to; I don't know if it should be called a milestone, but for me it is one of the few things I achieved in the year 2024, and I will always be grateful to the year for the opportunity.

I have also enrolled in an interior designer course that will last for a year. I got the opportunity to do it, and I seized it. It is one of the few things I would say the year 2024 helped me achieve. So far, so good; adding it to my school program has not been easy, but I manage to juggle all, including online jobs, and would see it through to the end. The year 2024 was not all rosy, but I can say it did open doors to doing things I have always wanted to do.
